PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Good Afternoon Families,
Special Message
It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of Mrs. Naomi Shelton, a cherished member of our school community. While we are sad to see her go, we are also thrilled for her as she embarks on an exciting overseas trip to begin her well-deserved retirement.
Mrs. Shelton has been an integral part of our school for an incredible 28 years as a dedicated employee and even more years as a supportive parent and grandparent. Her unwavering commitment, passion and kindness have touched the lives of countless students, parents, and staff members.
The good news is that Mrs. Shelton will continue to be a part of our school community as a valued member of our School Association. We look forward to her continued involvement and support.
To honor Mrs. Shelton's remarkable service, we will be celebrating her contributions at Monday's assembly. We invite everyone to join us in expressing our gratitude and best wishes. Additionally, a special box will be placed in the office for parents, carers and families who would like to leave a personal farewell message or card for Mrs. Shelton. The box will be in the school foyer over the next two weeks.
NM School Sports Association Athletics Carnival
An Evandale representative team was selected from our carnival last week to compete at the Northern Midlands School Sports Association Athletic Carnival TOMORROW at St Leonards. Mr. Moore is Team Manager and will accompany the team. We are excited for our students to represent Evandale and wish them the best of luck. Parents are invited to spectate and cheer for Evandale but must follow the safeguarding rules sent home as part of the carnival information. Go Evandale!
Gumnuts
Our Launching into Learning Gumnuts is every Monday morning. We are excited to see our littlest learners and their families join us in the Kinder classroom from 9:30-11am. Please help us spread the word – everyone is welcome!
Brixhibition
Our overall school winner was Ruby in 5-6. Ruby’s design will be on display at Brixhibition at the Launceston Conference Centre on Saturday the 26th to Sunday the 27th of April 2025. Put the date in your diary as it would be a great holiday activity.
